First Aid at Work (Refresher) Course

The aims and objectives of the First Aid at Work (Refresher) Course are to update the candidate’s first aid skills and knowledge, and to enable people to carry out appropriate first aid in an emergency situation. Each course is specifically designed depending on the candidate’s workplace.
Attendance on this course is open to holders of a valid First Aid At Work Certificate issued under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The current certificate should be in date before the refresher course starts. On successful completion a certificate will be issued under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This Course is delivered over two days.

2 Days or 14 hours course content
Certification, resource pack and aide memoirs are included.

• Aims and Principles of first aid
• Incident management
• Treatment of unconsciousness
• Resuscitation
• Airway and breathing problems
• Wounds and bleeding
• Burns and poisons
• Other serious injuries
• Illnesses including epilepsy / diabetes / poisoning
• Prevention of cross infection
• Universal precautions
• Legal requirements
• Record-keeping
• Casualty transportation

In-House Training.

Cost: £600.00 for a minimum of 5 delegates, each additional delegate is charged at £50.00 per person maximum of 12 candidates
