Ideally the best way to run the course is within your own workplace, Liberty Training is able to provide in-house courses anywhere in the country, as long as a minimum of 28 days notice is given.
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at anyone who works in a Health clubs, Hotels, Holiday Parks & Schools where there is a pool present but no requirement for a lifeguard. Prospective swimming teachers would also benefit from this training course. You do not need any previous lifesaving experience to train for this award but you must confidently be able to swim 20 metres on your front and back and be able to learn a variety of skills.
Entry Requirements: - Candidates must:
• Be 16 years of age, or older, at the time of the examination.
• 100% Attendance on a course of instruction for a minimum of 14 hours; which is completed
over 3 or 4 days to suit the company (this includes the Aquatic Rescue Foundation Unit).
Candidates must be prepared to read and fill out log books before the start of the course
Training can take place at your own venue, no matter what the size or depth of the pool.
The qualification is valid for 2 years. Minimum 5 Candidates - Maximum number of Candidates: -12
Cost - Please call or online booking form for details. The more candidates the company puts on the course the cheaper per person. Companies are welcome to privately sell remaining places as long as Liberty Training are aware of final numbers within 28 days of the start of the course.
